The interplay, colors, and new shapes are a big leap into kinetic art. For me, this piece represents a new language in shapes and designs. Freedom of Movement is unrestricted, a desire to be in place or on the move, freewill, expression without reproach, without judgement or reprimand. It comes from soul aching need, an African American genetic cry, and a longing for the African Homeland.
