Since 2014, I have made about 10,000+ pairs of earrings.. about 1500 a year for some time. In the last few years I average 100 or so a month. And I love to create one-of-a-kind designs, it is my métier, my style and my trademark.
That being the case, I am going back to a collection of my favorites from the last 10 years and revisiting 60 of the designs I really love. This Spring collection is called, DENISE REDUX 2023. 60 proprietary designs for the season I adore, Spring. The designs will include a photo of the past and the revisit design. New colors with a little swag added to some of the shapes, textures.
I was inspired by the last few years building the Kennedy Center collections for the performances: THE COLOR PURPLE, THE MUSICAL 2018, AIN’T TOO PROUD 2022, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater 2022, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater 2023. Designing for specific productions of ballet and a musical or two lead to my creating production line jewelry in limited numbers. So a revisit for each pair of earrings from the past will be something new. Here’s a peak at what was and will become again:
