The library at Timbuktu has of thousands of writings has a history of the ancient world. It has been looted, burned and again, nearly destroyed as recently as 2013. Of the many writings include works from Aristotle, The Quran and many other African and Arabic writers. Timbuktu is a place that represents the literary thought of mankind from the ancient world. These manuscripts are in process of preservation digitally and stored in better places for safety now.
