MOONLIGHT IN ZIMBABWE
Yep, time is moving at a good clip. I am getting stronger and my healing is slow but good progress. Thanks to the goodness of family and wonderful friends, I am healthy and strong again. Knee replacement was a success, and thanks to the PT crew at Kaiser, I am getting on with living.
This Spring seems beautiful, green, lush and hearing the birds is just amazing some days. Winter was emotionally draining and healing took me out a few times. But beautiful projects kept the focus on creativity and less on the slow pace of my body moving differently. The Bennett/Horne project, a new kinetic sculpture was built for the new home. The wonderful Kennedy Center gave me two projects in December and January and that created my new shapes and designs.
I love hearing from all of you, thank you for your cards, emails and notes. Letting me know how you are makes my day.
With the coming season filling in with market days in Santa Rosa, Healdsburg and elsewhere this will be a great year.
My new focus is getting the kinetic art into exhibitions. Here’s where you can find my art in April/May.
