Spring, New Beginnings, and Downsizing

Spring is here, and so are big life changes. Instead of getting ready to plant out my spring garden, I’m clearing it out. Instead of making a whole new color scheme in jewelry designs and kinetic sculptures, I’m spending time downsizing and recalibrating.

It’s time for me to let go of the many things we collected over the years. Artwork, collections of tools, garden tools, a lightly storage shed, a brand new portable greenhouse, a jewelers rolling mill with stand and some great garden art. And then there’s Bob’s stuff, ha ha, and that's so very much stuff.

The website now has a collage and painting collection that needs new homes. A kinetic art sale and the many artworks I collected over the years. I believe it’s about time to lighten my load.

Stereo, Audio, and Video Sale Saturday, April 18, 8-2pm

On Saturday, I will also sell the Bob Collection of stereo, audio and video gear: turntables, many set of speakers, jazz Cd’s, old mics, tons of cables, amps, a 1976 collector special wedge cassette player/recorder, cameras and delightful production video gear, and four reel to reel decks. And there's an antique typewriter, circa 1920's with a wooden cover.

A fun couple of garage sales, no clothes or dishes, just real cool old things we've loved.

This will make space for a future I haven't really been able to imagine for a long time. A new beginning, with space to store things I want to keep visible and usable. If you live nearby, please stop in.

I’m having an Art Sale on April 25th 8-2pm at my home, so if you live nearby, I would love to see you. And if you live far away, you get the first viewing of the work for sale. Posting the loved artwork on the website offers you a sneak preview of the sale. The treasures will go up next week, all week long on the website as I collect from the house and garden.
