Necklaces and a Change

I’m working through this Spring with an eye for something larger in my jewelry collections and these necklaces are coming forward. A swing into my summer colors and clothes. An homage to Carmen McRae, artists Dali and others, Queen Amina and more to come over the next few months.

Hoping this finds you all well. I’m proclaiming I am a Black Woman Artist who has seen a lot and want to remind you to vote for the safety and sanity of this crazy country. No one has the right to say what women do, with their health or their hearts. Don’t forget, we were our father’s daughters until we became a man’s wife just about 100 years ago. This unrestricted life for most women has only been the last 50 years. Who are you going to be this election? When we vote, we demonstrate enough is enough. Use your power. Vote.
