Most of our ancestors arrived here by water, to a place washed in sweat and blood and tears. Hard times, hard grit, impossible odds and sometimes glory, justice/injustice equals parts of this American history. We are just beginning to understand what is missing in the written word about America.

Like Maya said, Still I Rise.
